Who controls your data

VideoMaker AI is operated by Yang Ningchuan, an individual seller. For the purposes of data protection law, the operator is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: support@videomaker-ai.com.

This policy covers the website, the generation console, and the emails you exchange with us.

What we collect

Account data: your email address, display name, profile image if you sign in with Google, a bcrypt password hash if you register with a password, and sign-in timestamps.

Generation data: the prompts you write, the images you upload, the settings you choose (workflow, duration, resolution, aspect ratio), the effect template you use, the job status, and the videos generated for you.

Credits and order data: your balance, reservations, ledger entries, credit orders, payments and refund records. Card details are handled by Waffo and never reach our servers.

Technical data: IP address, request IDs, browser and device information, and error logs used to keep the service running and secure.

Support data: the messages you send us, including abuse reports.

Why we use it

To provide the service: authenticate you, accept your inputs, generate and deliver videos, and show your job history.

To bill correctly: quote generations, reserve and settle credits, process purchases and refunds, and keep accounting records.

To keep the service safe: screen prompts, validate uploads, review abuse reports, prevent fraud and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy.

To support you and improve reliability: answer your requests, debug failures, and understand which parts of the product break.

To comply with the law, including tax, accounting, consumer protection and lawful requests from authorities.

AI processing and third parties

To generate a video, your prompt and any image you uploaded are sent to our AI provider, which runs ByteDance's Seedance model. The provider processes them to produce the requested output. Our provider receives them only for that purpose.

Waffo Pancake acts as merchant of record for payments. It receives your email address and order details and handles card data, receipts and applicable taxes under its own privacy policy.

Cloudflare hosts the application and stores data: the database, private object storage for images and results, and operational logs.

Google handles sign-in if you choose Google OAuth and shares your name, email address and profile image with us. If transactional email is enabled, our email provider processes the recipient address and message content.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-site tracking.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, the European Union and Asia. Where required, we rely on the providers' contractual safeguards for those transfers.

How long we keep it

Uploaded images are deleted when a job reaches a final state. Generated videos are kept for 30 days and then removed by a scheduled cleanup.

Account, credit and order records are kept while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and dispute-resolution rules require.

Security and moderation logs, including refusal records, are kept for up to 12 months. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Uploaded images and results are stored in private object storage and served through short-lived signed URLs. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, never in plain text. Administrative access changes are written to an append-only audit log.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent you previously gave.

Send requests to support@videomaker-ai.com. We respond within 30 days and may ask for information to verify your identity. Deletion can be limited where we must keep billing or audit records, or where data is needed to investigate abuse.

You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country or region.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Children

VideoMaker AI is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact support@videomaker-ai.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect.
